Pool Maintenance Checklist
A pool maintenance checklist helps you stay on top of water testing, vacuuming, cleaning equipment, checking filter pressure, checking flow, and watching pH, calcium hardness, and alkalinity levels.
Regular Vacuuming
Vacuuming removes dirt particles that can upset water balance and clog equipment. Aquastaser users should flush the pool filter after filter maintenance before returning water flow to the device and pool.
Use Pool Equipment Properly
Pool equipment lasts longer when used carefully. Do not run over a vacuum head while vacuuming, and do not use the skimmer net in ways that can damage pool surfaces or equipment.
Regular Pool Parts Check
Even when the pool is not used every day, check the filter pressure gauge, flow indicator, and pH level so the pool remains ready for the Aquastaser to work well.
Pool Algae Prevention
For Aquastaser users, running the pump a few more hours per day in warmer months can help prevent algae growth. If algae is still an issue, the Ionizer may be a helpful add-on.
